One of my pet pieves is internet hoaxes. You've probably seen a few pass by in your e-mail box, and lots of people read these messages and forward them on because someone told them it was true. To get tons and tons of answers to questions about stuff like this, check out
Snopes.com, The Urban Legends Reference Pages. If i get a message with information I'm not quite sure about, I always go there and do a search, and 9 times out of 10, it's there, with lots of information to help straighten things out. I encourage everyone to check this site before you forward those e-mails!
I love to watch movies on dvd, the new digital format that's become so popular because of all the extra features. One really good site is DVD Empire, and the other is, DVD talk! you can order dvd's through them and the prices are most definitely good!
They like to send you over to Amazon.com., and you can buy lots more than just dvd's. You can buy books, cd's, toys, games, the list just goes on and on!

For some satiracle humor and a look at the news, there's only one place for you and that's,

Want to read movie scripts online? If you do, then click on over to Drew's Script-o-rama.
and you guys will definitely want to check out The UK Audio Network!
This is the first site that i know of that doesn't require any screen access software, it is all self-voicing!It contains links to online radio stations, trivia, games, and much more!
Internet radio links
One of my favorite things to do is listen to online radio stations. If you love listening to internet radio as much as I do, then please do yourself a favor and visit Save Internet Radio! It's under atack by CARP, or the copyright Arbitration Royalty pannel.
Recently, the librarian rejected the rates proposed, so for now, internet radio stations will continue to stream, but for how long? If the big execs get their way, the only stations you'll hear are the corporate bigwigs who only have money on their minds, not your listenership.
Well, No Holds Barred Radio is back! This show is for adults only, and is most definitely not for the faint of heart. After a few months off, it's back, ready to pollute the internet airwaves with the best adult comedy out there. Shows will start June 12th, and will air every other week. For more info, check out The No Holds Barred Radio website!
You can also listen directly from this website. Click here to check out the No Holds Barred Radio broadband stream with Winamp.Choose this link for the NHB Radio modem stream for Winamp.
One of the best new stations on the internet is Test Pattern Radio! It's radio with expression. It's free form, wild and unpredictable.
A Couple of years ago, Live Stream Americacame on the scene, and since then has become my favorite site to listen to on demand content every week. If you long for something just a litttle bit different and fun, check it out. You'll be glad you did! LSA simply rocks!
Another one i highly recommend is Live 365.com.It has over 40000 radio stations to choose from, so there's gotta be something you like. In fact, I'd pretty much guarantee it! This is a great site! I am constantly looking around there for new stuff to listen to. Speaking of searching for radio stations, now you can search live 365 for radio stations right from this website! Use the following form to search.
I even have a station there myself. Keep reading for details! It hasLots of great old time radio streams, and music from every imaginable genre you can think of, and some you probably haven't yet.
As you've seen before, yet another one of my favorites is ACB Radio. It has 4 streams to choose from.
There's a new way to listen to all 4 streams of ACB Radio. It's called the ACB Radio Tuner. This brand new version of the tuner is a 32 bit windows application that gives you access to all 4 streams on ACB Radio, and you can choose your player, and connection speed, right from the program itself. Gone are the days of having to download a specific tuner for a specific player. This new tuner's got it all and it just plane rocks!
download the ACB Radio Tuner.
The newest stream is called It features all blind cyber dj's playing your requests. I just started doing a show on there myself. To listen to the last show on demand, Click here for the ToonheadMusic archives! The Snowman's web site is another one of my favorites! His show isn't in production anymore, but you can still listen to past episodes, and find out lots more about what makes him tick. Check it out!
If you're on a broadband connection such as cable, dsl or if you're lucky enough to be on a t1 or greater, you will definitely want to check out The Audiosoft streaming jukebox! it has over 400000 selections to choose from, and the awesome thing about this site is, when it says "instant requests", they mean it! But if nothing is being requested, songs just play at random, so don't worry, you'll always have some great stuff to listen to. One thing though, some of the links on the page with your search results aren't properly linked with alt tags, so you won't know the actual song title you've chosen til after you've requested it, which is sort of a bummer, but it's still a pretty good site to check out anyway. I love music from the 80s, so the 2 best ones i've found out there are Flashback Radio!
you can request a song and they'll actually play it. The other is Club 977, the Eighties Channel! This one has a pretty good selection of tunes, although to my knowledge, you can't make requests, but the site is always changing, so go have a look, and a listen too! These 2 are also suitable for broadband connections, although they both have modem streams.
Do you like old time radio shows? Well, if the answer is yes, then you'll definitely want to visit,
Mike's Mess. He has lots of net casts you can listen to, mostly in the old time radio and oldies genres. His oldies netcast is available in all speeds and formats so no matter if you're on a high speed connection or a modem you can listen. If you like it, tell him the Toonhead sent you!
Another great site for OTR shows of all genres is OTR Now!Click here to listen to all 3 OTR Now streams in Winamp. the above link will launch Winamp and you have access to all 3 streams. The first one is OTR Now Live! the second one is OTR Now Jive! and the third one isOTRNow Feature!
